NEAR Powered NFT Marketplace
The company turned to us for consultation and oversight of the project, the development of which had been previously assigned to another outsourced provider. Our team was chosen because of our in-depth NEAR expertise.
The technologies used for front-end development include React, TypeScript, React Router, Redux, and React Saga. Back-end development is conducted based on Node.js, TypeScript, nestJS framework, Bull Queue, and PostgreSQL. The underlying blockchain technologies are the NEAR blockchain and Rust. The DevOps tech stack includes Kubernetes, AWS, Docker, IPFS, Amazon S3, Helm Chart, Terraform, and Ingress.
One-of-a-Kind carbon credit marketplace
The primary goal of the project was to develop a brand-new way of connecting carbon offset buyers and offset project developers via blockchain technology.
Our blockchain architects chose the Polygon blockchain to create the project from scratch. The choice can be explained by this blockchain’s full compatibility with Ethereum, robust infrastructure, and minimal user fees.
Blockchain-based application with Corda
The blockchain platform should enable easy scalability for the future addition of participants to the system.
The team considered three blockchain solutions for this project: Corda, Hyperledger Fabric, and Quorum. There were no specialists with practical expertise in Corda implementation. Yet, the project’s peculiarities pointed to the ideal fit of Corda. Thus, the team agreed to take additional time and effort to master Corda to meet the client’s needs and expectations.
The web application’s UI was developed using Python Django, with our experts applying it to customize the Corda blockchain using R3’s CorDapp templates.
Marketplace for Insurance Policy Acquisition
The platform we built for the client is a blockchain-powered NFT marketplace for insurance policy trading. The platform supports three kinds of services enabled via parametric smart contracts:
- Insurance sale
- Liquidity provision
- Secondary insurance market
Once the insurance policy is purchased, it gets tokenized on the platform as an NFT, with the funds paid for the policy invested into a digital vault for the agreed period of insurance coverage. The policy token can then be resold to another holder.
